My name is Chris Bracuk and I am married to a beautiful woman Cheryl Yuzwenko. We have 3 wonderful daughters Kristen, Annika, and Lainey and my journey into the wonderful world of clean water began because of my oldest daughter Kristen.
Daughter Born with Aicardi Syndrome
Kristen was born with a very rare genetic condition (disability) called Aicardi Syndrome.
Because of her condition, Kristen is on many medications, she is tube fed, and she has a very difficult digestive system which includes a daily routine of Polyethylene Glycol (PEG) to help her have bowel movements (BM’s).
All of these different powders and medications are mixed with water daily.
Concern about pharmaceuticals in the water
My concern about the water I was using was the result of an article I read from the Edmonton Journal that talked about pharmaceuticals in the North Saskatchewan River and the possible synergistic effects they might have on other medications.
Medications were mixed with water.
Because virtually everything I give my daughter is mixed with water – I decided it was time to look into this and see what I could do to make sure my daughter was getting the best water we could provide.
I am an avid 630 CHED listener and I had heard a few times on “Talk to the Experts” a fellow talking about the benefits of clean and soft water. He talked about a Reverse Osmosis process for cleaning water and I was curious about what he was claiming.
Reverse Osmosis was the solution
I decided to research Reverse Osmosis water and found that there were only two real ways to clean water (Distillation and Reverse Osmosis) and from my results I thought that this was exactly what I was looking for.
I called the phone number and low and behold the fellow I heard on the Radio (Ari Hoeksema) answered the phone. We made an appointment for him to come out to my home and talk to Cheryl and I about water.
We realized this was the right company
When Ari walked into our home he noticed me holding Kristen right away – and he came over and sat right beside us. For the next while (could have been an hour of talking) I found out that Ari was not only in the water business – but he was a Shriner.
During our conversation and questions Ari was trying to see if there was anything that he and the Shriner’s might be able to do for Kristen that we may not or hadn’t thought of or tried on our own.
Right away I knew I was dealing with someone very special and after Ari’s presentation on water – I knew I was dealing with a legitimate and honest company.

A few days later, exactly when Ari and I agreed, a nice young installer named Kevin came to my home and installed some water equipment for my family to try for 30 days. Following the instructions we were given – we used the Reverse Osmosis water for everything going into our bodies including washing all fruits and vegetables, boiling water for pasta, rice, coffee, and tea, and of course drinking.
We immediately started using that water as well for everything involving our daughter Kristen.
What happened next is the reason for me writing this testimonial.
3 days with clean water changed our daughters life
Our daily routine was to give Kristen PEG mixed with a cup of water every morning.
What I didn’t mentioned was the amount we gave her – 2 tablespoons.
With the old regular city water we would watch, wait, hope, and pray that Kristen would have a BM and usually it was every 5 or 6 days we would wait – and it was the most painful thing for a parent to watch as she struggled to do what the rest of us do naturally.
We spent years with physicians adjusting the amount of PEG and finally decided 2 tablespoons is what was decided was the best amount for her.
We have the new water system in place and we continue with this same routine involving PEG.
3 days after we get the new water system – Kristen has the largest (and wettest) BM in her life making a huge mess.
We thought that maybe she caught a bug and that was the result but as we continued her routine – she continued to have these extremely wet and messy BM’s “daily”.
We consulted with Kristen’s pediatrician and at her recommendation – we started reducing the amount of PEG until we found a good balance again. As a result we went from giving Kristen 2 tablespoons every morning to the reduced amount of 1.5 teaspoons.
3 days of using clean water and our daughter is using a fraction of the medication she previously needed and she’s now perfectly regular.
